Multiple Choice Question
Multiple choice questions are considered to be one of the most difficult among students. The students are found troubled most of the time in these questions. There are various reasons behind multiple choice questions being difficult in the examination. Some of the reasons behind why Multiple Choice Questions are considered difficult are as follows.
- Multi-tasking
- Inability to follow the track and confusion
- Long options
Multi-tasking
Multiple choice questions are generally about the ability to listen and read at the same time when the track is being played. This needs some practice to exactly understand how things work. As you are expected to make notes and write down, when you are sitting in a university class.
Inability to follow the track and confusion
One of the major confusion in IELTS Multiple Choice Questions is the inability to follow the information. In most of the cases, the track mentions something about each of the option in the multiple choice questions. They try to confuse your with the possible wrong answers. Not just that, many candidates even fail to follow the things said on track as every spoken on track is not written on the question booklet. So, it is compulsory to keep in mind that all the options may be discussed in the track and there will something wrong with the two of them.
Long options
Long options are troubling as they consume more time. In fact, this is the major reason behind people failing to solve multiple choice questions. Hence, you need to underline the important things out of the option in such a way that you don’t need to read the whole option. Whenever multiple choice questions are asked in the Section 3 or Section 4 of IELTS Test, it has longer options. You need to reduce these options before the track starts to play.
