Michelson's Method for the determination of the velocity of light

A octagonal mirror is placed  in front of a source of light rotating over a speed motor at angle 45 degree with one face of mirron M1. The light then reflects to mirror M2 reflects back it to M3 .  M3 is placed at the centre of curvature of the mirror M2. The M3 reflects it back to M2 and then back to M1 and then to telescope.
                The time taken to travel from M1to M2.
If 't' be the time taken to travel the light from M1to M2 and back to M1.
 t = 2d/c



 Now, if f be the number of revolutions per seconds of mirror M1, 'w' be the angular momentum of the mirror  and 'm' is the number of faces of this mirror, the angle rotated by the mirror during the time 't' be Ѳ.
