IELTS Lesson #7 - Listening 1

IELTS Listening is considered to be the easiest module my most of the candidates. Furthermore, observing the details about IELTS scores clearly indicates that, students with higher band scores have one thing in common i.e. high score in IELTS Listening.

I would rather love to say that IELTS Listening and Reading tests are more about of fixed or definite answers. In contrast, IELTS Writing and Speaking test is more about the creativity and knowledge about various aspects.

Test Format

  • Sections : 4
  • Questions : 40

IELTS Listening test consists of 4 sections which consists of 40 questions altogether. The sections are in the increasing order of difficulty. It can be said that, with increase in the number of sections or as we reach section 3 and section 4, the questions are relatively difficult.
